iLearnInterpreter has won the 2002 Plant Engineering
Magazine Product of the Year Award! |

Have you ever
stared at a spectrum and thought “What does this mean”? You know
the information is there…somewhere. If you could unravel the
patterns, and interpret what they mean, you may just diagnose the
condition of the machine.
iLearnInterpreter is designed with you in
mind!
iLearnInterpreter
can read any spectrum, find the patterns, and explain what they mean.

iLearnInterpreter is a software tool that “floats” over your existing
vibration analysis application. Just press a hot-key and it scans the graph, locates the peaks, and extracts all of the
patterns – you’ll be surprised what it finds.
The patterns are
highlighted and explained. It is so useful, even if you already
have analysis experience.

 |
|

To aid the analysis process it is essential to understand the
machine. Calculating the “forcing frequencies” is not simple, so we
have provided an innovative modeling tool. You simply drag and drop
the components, enter their details, and all of the frequencies are
calculated for you. You can also search for bearings from the
supplied database. Special markers are then overlaid on the graph.
NOTE: You do not need to build the model!
|
|

Once you have revealed the patterns, you have to interpret what they
mean.
iLearnInterpreter will provide you with a statement of the most likely
fault(s) based on the patterns detected. For example, if it sees
a high 1X, 2X and 3X peak, it will suggest a cocked bearing.
If you did not
understand the nature of the pattern or suggested fault, you can click
to see
notes describing the pattern/fault, a graphic illustrating the
“classic pattern”, and an animation. And with a click, the topic
will open in iLearnVibration (if owned).
The bottom line – iLearnInterpreter can extract the patterns, provides
suggestions as to what they may indicate, and helps you to understand
the condition.

During the analysis process it is important to “mark” peaks, label the
forcing frequencies, and highlight the patterns. And if a report is
required, it is helpful to add labels, generate (and manipulate)
images, and more. iLearnInterpreter can do all of this and more.

iLearnInterpreter
will pay for itself many times over. Vibration analysis is not easy,
and there is a lot to remember in order to be successful.
iLearnInterpreter will help you to diagnose faults and document your
results.
