Welcome to the new
iLearnInteractive presentation center!
The following presentations are
provided to you to help you to learn more about vibration analysis
and alignment. These presentation use Macromedia Flash MX
technology, so you will need the
Flash player.
These presentations are not sales
presentations (unless specifically stated) - you will learn a great
deal from these presentations (almost 2000 people have already
viewed these presentations already).
We will be adding new presentations
to this page regularly, so please come back frequently. If you
would like to sign-up to our new newsletter,
we will inform you when new presentations are available.
Note: These presentations are not
in the same format as the slides used in iLearnVibration and
iLearnAlignment. They are all narrated, but iLearnVibration
and iLearnAlignment are more interactive, with animations, and
simulations. Less information is presented on each slide in
iLearnVibration and iLearnAlignment,
in order to make it easier to learn.
NEW: Introduction to Vibration Analysis
This a new 20-slide presentation
that will provide an introduction to why we collect vibration
measurements and how we look at the spectra. If you have ever
wondered what the vibration tells you, this presentation will give
you an excellent overview.

Time Waveform Analysis
This 26-slide presentation will provide an
introduction to time waveform analysis. It describes how to
set up your data collector correctly, how to analyze the
waveform, and how to diagnose specific fault conditions.

Understanding, Detecting, and
Correcting Misalignment
This 30 slide presentation will provide an
introduction to misalignment and describe how to use vibration analysis
to detect the condition. It also summarizes the entire
alignment process. It uses graphics from iLearnVibration and
iLearnAlignment.

Beating,
or "What's that throbbing sound?"
This 20 slide presentation will provide an
explanation of "beating" - a common phenomenon which results in a
throbbing sound, or a rise and fall of vibration level. This
presentation will explain what it is, why it happens, and how to
correct it. It uses graphics from iLearnVibration.
