I have been involved with vibration analysis for almost 20 years, and I have seen a lot of people struggle up the learning curve.  It's no wonder - vibration analysis is a very complicated field!  Just setting up your database and getting the alarm settings right is a huge challenge, let alone actually making sense of the spectra and diagnosing faults.
